Swedish Research Council allocates 25 million SEK to platform for antibiotics development

The Swedish Research Council has decided to allocate 26 million SEK to fund ENABLE-2, a platform for developing antibiotics at Uppsala University, during 2021–2022.

The platform opened on 4 October for new applications. The research to be funded via the platform shall relate to molecules that may be candidates for antibacterial medicines. With support from Vinnova, companies may also apply to use the platform.
