The first calls for proposals in 2018 are now open

The Swedish Research Council has now opened the first calls for proposals in 2018. Most of the calls are open until 27 February, but the grants for NOS-HS workshops are open until 20 March.

The following calls open on 24 January:

Conference grant. The purpose of this grant is to promote international research collaboration and exchange of experiences. A conference grant gives the opportunity to researchers operating in Sweden of arranging a conference with internationally recognised arrange a conference with internationally recognised speakers.

Consolidator grant. The aim of this grant is to give the most prominent junior researchers the opportunity to consolidate their research, and to expand and broaden their research activities

International postdoc. The purpose is to give newly qualified researchers with a doctoral degree from a Swedish university the opportunity to expand their networks and their competences by working abroad under secure employment conditions.

Research environment grant – clinical therapy research. The aim is to support large clinical studies that are justified by the needs of the healthcare sector, and thereby offer important benefits to patients and society within a relatively short time frame.

Grant for visiting professor. The aim is to give universities the opportunity to develop a research area by recruiting an internationally prominent professor during a limited period..

Grant for NOS-HS workshops invites proposals for funding covering a series of Nordic workshops. The aim of the grant is to promote research collaboration and development of new research areas and programs within the humanities and social sciences in the Nordic countries.
